Why I love Valentines Day!

There have been only two Valentines day in my life where I had a significant other.
The first one was in 3rd grade and her name was April. I bought her a box of heart candy and she did not get me anything. I never forgot or forgave her.
The second one was in college with my girlfriend. I only had to fork out a hundred bucks, go on a terrifying hot air balloon ride, and get dumped a month later.

All the other 25 Valentines days have been wonderful. Why am I discussing this in Jan? 3 Words. Brachs Conversation Hearts. I know the majority think they taste like cough medicine, but I think they are delicious. (especially the yellow ones). I just bought 3 bags of them.

Do yourself a favor and go out and get a bag.

I have a bag at sugar at my apartment, so the next time you come over I'll add some food coloring to it and you can enjoy that too--it's pretty much the same thing as those conversational hearts.

Grab yourself some heart shaped 3 Muskateer bars and now you're talking...

Puddles, I will talk to Matt Jensen and see if he would let me be your Valentine this year. You will not need to buy me anything...and I will buy you something...and thus, your hatred of the holiday-with-other will end.

Allison,
that could be the greatest idea ever.

This is amazing...

Last year (2005) Jason and I somewhat forgot about getting gifts for one another for Christmas. I know, I know...we're silly. This is how Christmas day went...

(Jason) "Uh, so...Merry Christmas?"
(Katey) "...yeah."
(Jason) "Wanna go see a movie?"
(Katey) "...yeah."

That night, we managed to eat several bags of candy including those chocolate calanders that help you count down the days until Christmas. Now, every year, it is a tradition to eat those calanders.

We should have a chocolate calander and conversational candy party. =) It will be the hit of the year.
