The Parent Link
There is this resource that I just became aware of that is getting me in good with my students parents. Isn't that what youth ministry is all about? It is called Parent Link. It is a monthly newsletter that is set up in a word document that is filled with articles for parents about todays youth. The best part is that it is completely adaptable to fit your needs. So far, this has been a very successful way to continually keep parents informed on what is going on in the ministry.

Yes Parent Link is really what Youth Ministry is about. Better enabling parents to raise their children to become people who know the Lord, love the Lord, follow the Lord, & obey the Lord. If, you can be an aid to the parents in the raising of their children by providing resources (i.e.- knowledge and godly friendship {to them and to their children}then I believe that you have it the nail on the head when it comes to the purpose of Youth Ministry. For parents are ultimately responsible in raising & discipling their children- Deuteronomy 6:4-9 & Malachi 2:14-15.
